Software QA Intern

• Plan, document and execute integration, regression, stress, and system testing and other forms of automation and software verification.
• Collaborate with developers to identify and create test cases and reproduce deficiencies as required.
• Administer issue tracking system.
• Assist with DHF (Design History File) processes and documentation.
• Other duties and administrative tasks deemed necessary as assigned by management.

Education and Qualifications:

• Working towards a bachelor degree in computer science, software engineering or related discipline.
• Ability to generate and conduct test cases and write verification documents.
• Ability to work with team and all cross-functional departments to complete project deliverables.
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office MS Word and Excel.
• Desirable technical skills: Microsoft C#.Net, CSS, XML and MS SQL Server, Object-Oriented programming.
• Experience with issue and defect tracking systems.
• Skilled in problem identification and solution.
• Demonstrates detailed-oriented skills.
• Previous software verification and/or validation experience in ISO 13485 environment is a major asset.
• A critical thinker.
• Strong communication skills, including writing and oral presentations.
• Pro-active attitude, flexible, professional, independent and a team player.
• Take initiative, being willing to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated capacity to handle multiple tasks and demands.
