Digital Marketing Director, Healthcare, B2C and B2B

SQI Diagnostics is a rapidly expanding, innovative precision medicine company offering both direct-to-consumer and institutional commercial medical diagnostics. Areas of focus include Covid-19 testing, autoimmune disease testing and organ transplant. SQI Diagnostics is currently expanding its U.S. Commercial Sales and Marketing team. This position is U.S. based. Ideally candidate is located in Metro Detroit, MI, but will consider remote location. Ideal candidate also has healthcare, life sciences and/or medical industry experience. 

As Digital Marketing Director, you will be responsible for strategy and execution of our integrated digital marketing programs across various channels in the digital space, including driving branding, message and traffic to sales. A main objective will be acquiring consumers online to our branded website offering home health test kits. You will work with our creative agency to ensure brand priorities and initiatives are translated into targeted content online. Additionally, you will be well versed in the sales data to incorporate into your plans.

Specific Responsibilities:

Specific responsibility is to oversee and drive the marketing campaign planning process and strategy development in accordance with overall brand growth plans, and includes:

  • Brand Website 
  • Paid Search
  • Paid Social Media
  • Email Marketing
  • Traditional Media Marketing (TV, Print, Direct Mail)
  • Video
  • B2B marketing and messaging
  • Lead generation
  • Manage Digital Marketing team growth
  • Develop digital marketing assets translating the core brand messages that are engaging for online formats
  • Budget responsibility
  • Lead agency relationships including briefing process, media planning and negotiations
  • Perform data analysis to understand sales attribution across different channels and optimize the media mix to grow sales
  • Identify opportunities and provide recommendations to key stakeholders on driving incremental growth

The Candidate:

The successful candidate will be a proven business leader with significant experience in Digital Marketing, Sales, and preferably within the life sciences and healthcare industry. The candidate must have both strong strategic capabilities as well as be hands-on and be comfortable with tactical execution and analysis. Candidate must be excited to work in a small but growing company that requires the ability and enjoyment of working in a fast-paced dynamic environment. 

Key Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of digital marketing experience
  • B2B and B2C experience 
  • BS/BA or University degree in Business or similar field, MBA a plus
  • Experience in healthcare, life sciences or medical industry
  • Experience handling large media budget to drive demand creation process and campaigns
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills. Knows how to develop key performance indicators to assess marketing investment that leads to conversion
  • Strong initiative and decision-making skills 
  • Ability to operate independently and bring ideas and solutions to issues raised
  • Experience working with Digital Marketing agencies and vendors
  • Experience with analytics tools (i.e. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or similar) and familiarity with common marketing technologies
